Labor Planning Homepage

  • Navigating to the Labor Planning Homepage is where the forecast details of a job will be displayed.
  • The toggles at the top of the Labor Planning Homepage will change how much or how little data is displayed in the Headline Metrics bar.
  • They key at the bottom of the Labor Loading graph will indicate what each color/pattern represents.

Hours/Worker Max/Worker Average

  • The Labor Planning Homepage can display data by Hours, Workers (Max) or Workers (Average).
  • Displaying the data by hours will tally how many hours are scheduled to the job each week. (For example: 2 Workers each doing a 40 hour week will display as 80.)
  • Displaying data by Workers (Max) will show the highest number of workers on the job in a week. (For example: If a job has 2 workers scheduled Mon.-Thurs. and 6 workers scheduled on Friday, the number 6 will be displayed.
  • Displaying the data by Workers (Average) will show the average amount of workers on the job in a week. Using the above example of 2 workers Mon.-Thurs. and 6 workers on a Friday, the Average amount of workers that week will be [2+2+2+2+6= 14 / 5 = 2.8]

Job Plan Drawer

  • When toggled on, the user can view Actual Hours on the Labor Loading graph.
  • The user will edit the Actuals numbers in the Job Plan Drawer on the right side.
  • Click Tab on the keyboard to advance to the next cell.
  • The yellow line indicating actual hours on the Labor Loading Graph will optimistically update.

Compatibility with RIVET Scopes feature

The RIVET WIP Actuals feature is not currently supported alongside the RIVET Scopes feature. If you are currently using the RIVET Scopes feature to segment your job data, you'll need to choose whether to keep Scopes enabled in your account or to disable Scopes in order to utilize the new WIP Actuals feature. In the future we plan to support both Scopes and WIP Actuals in your account simultaneously.
