Navigation
- When editing a job, the Schedule Defaults are in the Edit Job Drawer
- The check boxes next to the days indicate which will be part of the default schedule
💡 Note: The Default Shift in RIVET is provided for your own internal notation. There aren't any functional implications from changing the default shift of a job.
Create Job
- When manually creating a job, the Schedule Defaults are past the "Create and Continue" button.
💡 Note: When creating a job manually, the default schedule will be Mon-Fri 8 Hours per day.
Schedule Builder
- When Scheduling Labor using the Schedule Builder, the Schedule Defaults will be surfaced after selecting the job and the worker(s).
💡 Note: The schedule shown before user input is the default schedule. You're always able to schedule labor outside of the default schedule on a job using the check boxes in the schedule drawer.
💡 Note: Click "Restore Defaults" to see the default schedule on the job.
Edit Jobs
- The Schedule Defaults for a job are located in the Edit Job Drawer.
💡 Note: Editing single day Schedule Defaults is not supported in the Bulk Edit Jobs workflow.
Batch Schedule
- When changing the default days on a job the user is prompted to either batch schedule existing workers to match the new defaults or to dismiss the prompt.
💡 Note: Changing the default hours on a job will not trigger the Batch Schedule modal
Forecast
- When using the Forecast Builder, the Schedule Defaults on a job will be adhered to.
- When using the "Fill Value To End" feature, the Schedule Defaults will be adhered to.
Workforce Schedule
- Clicking an individual schedule segment will surface the option to edit the segments Schedule Defaults.
