How To Navigate Through RIVET

  • Navigate through RIVET using the navigation menu on the left side.
  • The Message Center and Notifications menus are in the upper right.

Access the Labor Planning Homepage

  • Click the name of a job to access the Baseball Card
  • Click the Open-icon-vector-03 icon to open the Job Pages

How to Access the Forecast Builder

  • From the Labor Planning Homepage open the Job Plan drawer in the upper right.
  • The icon will open the Forecast Builder.

How to Edit an Existing Forecast

  • Navigate to the Labor Planning Homepage of a job.
  • Open the Job Plan Drawer.
  • Click in each cell and edit the number of workers forecasted each week.

How to Publish a Major/Minor Version of the Forecast

  • Changing the numbers in the Forecast will create a draft version of the forecast
  • If the changes you've made amount to a > 5% change in labor, RIVET will prompt a major version to be saved.
  • If the changes made are < 5% of total labor hours, RIVET will automatically save a minor version of the forecast.

How to Request Labor

  • Labor Requests can be created from the Labor Need Table, the Labor Planning Homepage, The Job Schedule view or the Roster Board.
  • From the Roster Board select the Add Labor Request button from the specific job card.
  • Follow the prompts on screen to create a labor request.

How to Use the Schedule Builder

  • Open the Schedule Drawer from the lower left side of RIVET under Tools
  • Follow the prompts in the Schedule Drawer to create worker schedules
  • Dispatch these schedules at the end of the workflow.

How to Mark Workers Absent

  • To paint the absences in the Gantt, you'll access the Workforce Schedule view. Expand the worker card and paint the absence type in the Gantt chart.
  • You can schedule absences in Bulk using the Schedule Builder. Choose absences from the header menu and follow the prompts to mark these workers absent through a date range.
