Overview/Glossary Of Terms
Composite Impact Table: lists every job affected by productivity killers, sorted highest to lowest impact.
Overmanning: Flagged when a job's peak crew size is greater than 1.6x its average crew size. A pattern that research shows leads to congestions, stretched supervcision and diminishing returns.
Supervision Dilution: Flagged when the ratio of workers to supervision is greater than 6:1. Research shows that this reduces effective oversight as supervisors are overseeing too many workers concurrently.
Turnover/Loss of Learning: Flagged when frequesnt crew changes or short assignment durations disrupt learning curves. This lowers productivity by forcing workers to relearn tasks instead of building efficiency through repetition.
Slippage: When the actual hours used are significantly off pace to the forecasted hours. This may signal the job is burning labor slower or faster than planned and drifting off it's expected curve.

FAQ/Permissions
Q: Who can see the Productivity Risks dashboard?
Anyone with the new viewProductivityRisksDashboard permission. This was backfilled for every existing permission set that already had viewDashboard.
Q: Who can dismiss jobs or edit exclusions?
Users who have both viewProductivityRisksDashboard and editDashboard. The latter is the existing permission that gates other dashboard edits — it's typically scoped to admins and executive users.
Q: Do PMs see this on a job they own?
Yes — the Productivity Insights Panel on the job homepage is available to anyone who can open that job (readJob). They don't need the dashboard permission.
Q: I have an exec who can see the dashboard but doesn't have access to every job. What do they see when they click in?
They see the entire flagged-job table on the dashboard, but clicking a job only opens jobs they actually have access to. Same model as everywhere else in RIVET — the dashboard respects existing job-level access controls.
