Move Forecast Feature

Cut and paste a forecast so that it starts on an earlier or later date.

1. Click the name of a job to access the Baseball Card

2. Click the Screen Shot 2024-03-12 at 12.44.34 PMicon to navigate to the Job Pages

3. Open the Job Plan Drawer

4. Click the Screen Shot 2024-03-11 at 2.39.41 PMicon to access the Move Forecast feature

 

Replace

💡 Note: The Move Forecast feature in RIVET is always a CUT feature. You will not be copying the existing cells, you will be completely removing them and putting them in a different place on the Gantt.

 

1. Select the Start Date of the portion of forecast you're going to cut and move

2. Select the End Date of the portion of the forecast you're going to cut and move

3. Select the new start date where the existing forecast will be pasted

4. The moved forecast will replace any existing forecast in these cells

5. Publish your changes

💡 Note: The Move Forecast feature in RIVET is always a CUT feature. You will not be copying the existing cells, you will be completely removing them and putting them in a different place on the Gantt.

 

1. Select the Start Date of the portion of forecast you're going to cut and move

2. Select the End Date of the portion of the forecast you're going to cut and move

3. Select the new start date where the existing forecast will be pasted

4. The moved forecast will merge (be added to) any existing forecast in these cells

5. Publish your changes
