What is a Staff User in RIVET?
When an Admin user is creating roles in RIVET, they have the choice to designate them as "Scheduled Worker" or "Back Office Staff".
Scheduled Worker: Any worker that's going to be scheduled to physically show up on a job site. If their labor rate is entered, the hours scheduled will count against the job's labor budget.
Back Office Staff: Any member of the organization that will not be receiving a schedule to show up on a job. Back Office Staff are often added to the Project Team of a job and if their labor rate is entered, it will not count against the Labor Budget of the job.
Note: Back Office Staff will not be displayed on the Workforce Table by default. To display the back office in the Workforce Table, there is a toggle in the Workers dropdown. Accessible from the Sort and Filter bar. (Pictured below)
