Navigate to the Jobs View in the left side navigation
Click Forecast
Job Card
Hovering over the Job Card will display a kebab menu with these options:
- Publish Minor Version - Publish changes with a .1 increment in the name of the Forecast version
- Publish Major Version - Publish changes and choose to name the new Forecast version
- Version History - Open the Labor Planning Homepage to view the Forecast Version History
- Build Forecast - Open the Forecast Builder Tool
- Revert To Last Published - Discard changes and revert to last published version
- Move Forecast - Cut and paste a portion of the forecast
Publish My Drafts
- In order for edits to be shown throughout RIVET, changes to the forecast must be published
- The 'Publish my drafts' button in the upper right will publish all changes by the user
- To publish all changes, click the arrow to access the drop-down
Gantt Chart

A - Number of workers scheduled this day/week
B - Number of workers forecasted this day/week
💡 Note: Right click in the cells to insert comment, revert to last published, and fill value to end date.

Click and Drag
- Hover on the edge of a cell so the cursor changes to a double arrow
- Click and drag to paste the number in the following cells
- Publish your changes
Settings
- Forecast by number of hours, workers, percent allocated or earned revenue
- Add columns/content to the Forecast view
- Save custom views for later access
See Forecast By
- Workers (avg) = Displays average number of workers per period
- Workers (peak) = Displays the highest number of workers forecasted per period
- Hours = Forecasted number of hours per period
- Percent Allocated = Hours Forecasted this period divided by Total Forecasted Hours
- Earned Revenue = % of Total Hours Forecasted multiplied by Total Contract Value
💡 Note: This Work In Progress information is likely being brought into RIVET via an integration with your source system. If Projected Hours At Completion is not populated in RIVET, the calculation will fall back to Current Hours Budget.
