Navigation

Navigate to the Jobs View in the left side navigation

Click Forecast


View By/Group By

Customize how data is displayed on the Forecast View using Display Groups


Jump To Date

Use the Jump To Date feature to quickly access the data you're looking for


Cells

The Cells menu determines how much data is displayed on the Forecast View

Standard - Shows number of workers scheduled on the left and forecasted workers in the cell

Clean - Shows only scheduled workers in the past and forecasted workers today into the future


View Data

Choose to view the data by day or week

💡 Note: When viewing the data by week, the adjacent "See Forecast By" menu allows you to choose to view by max workers, average workers or hours per week.


See Forecast By

Workers (Max) - When in Week mode shows max amount of workers needed on any day

Workers (Average) - When in Week mode shoes average workers per day in the week

Hours - Shows total hours forecasted each day/week


Job Card

Hovering over the Job Card will display a kebab menu with these options

Build Forecast - Open the Forecast Builder Tool

Revert To Last Published - Discard changes and revert to last published version

Publish the Entire Job - Publish this job's forecast to the schedule

Move Forecast - Cut and paste a portion of the forecast

A - Number of workers scheduled this day/week

B - Number of workers forecasted this day/week

C - Kebab menu with options to insert comment, revert to last published or fill value to end date


Publish To Schedule

In order for edits to be shown throughout RIVET, changes to the forecast must be published

The Publish To Schedule button in the upper right publishes all forecasts at once

To publish individual forecasts access the kebab menu on a specific Job Card

Navigation

  1. Navigate to the Jobs Forecast view
  2. Toggle on the "Try the new Forecast" switch

Click and Drag

  1. Hover on the edge of a cell so the cursor changes to a double arrow
  2. Click and drag to paste the number in the following cells
  3. Publish your changes

Settings

  1. Forecast by number of hours or workers
  2. Add columns to the Forecast view
  3. Save custom views for later access

Zoom Level

  • Choose larger cells over a shorter period or smaller cells over a greater length of time
  • 'Compact' offers the widest lens
  • 'Luxury' offers the largest cells

Publish My Drafts

  1. Edit a forecast
  2. Click Publish My Drafts to publish the edits you've made

or

  2. Click the arrow to access the drop down and choose to Publish All Drafts
